  • Assist in resolving visa-related issues.
  • Cultural Adjustment Assistance:
  • Offer support and resources for cultural adaptation and integration.
  • Organize orientation programs to help students acclimate to the new environment.
  • Provide information on local customs, social norms, and community resources.
  • Financial Guidance:
  • Advise on financial matters, including tuition payments, budgeting, and available financial aid.
  • Assist in understanding currency exchange, banking, and related financial processes.
  • Health and Wellness Support:
  • Provide information on healthcare options and facilitate access to medical services.
  • Offer guidance on health insurance requirements and coverage.
  • Personal and Academic Counseling:
  • Address personal and academic concerns of international students.
  • Facilitate referrals to counseling services or academic support resources.
  • Liaison with Academic Departments:
  • Collaborate with academic departments to ensure smooth communication and support for international students.
  • Advocate for the unique needs of international students within the institution.
  • Legal Compliance:
  • Stay informed about and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations affecting international students.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Crisis Intervention:
  • Respond to emergencies and crises affecting international students.
  • Collaborate with appropriate authorities and resources to address urgent situations.
  • Cultural Events and Workshops:
  • Organize cultural events, workshops, and informational sessions to promote cross-cultural understanding.
  • Foster a sense of community among international students.
  • Communication and Outreach:
  • Maintain regular communication with international students through various channels.
  • Collaborate with other campus offices to enhance support services.
  • Professional Development:
  • Stay updated on trends and best practices in international education.
  • Participate in relevant training and professional development opportunities.

By fulfilling these responsibilities, an International Student Advisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and success of international students during their academic journey abroad.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:
