Description:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a capable, service driven Team Leader (Leading Hand) to supervise a pick packing team at our Operations in Homebush NSW.
Your key responsibilities as a Team Leader include:
- Be the champion of team culture - motivating and driving your team to success!
- Ensuring orders are packed and picked according to all appropriate procedures.
- Organising production activities ensuring objectives and targets are achieved within required time frames.
- Driving the WHS program, ensuring the team follow all appropriate safety systems and processes.
- Collaborating with the quality department to ensure assurance and systems compliance.
- Providing leadership, daily direction, and clear information for staff.
We are looking for an individual with the following capabilities:
- Experience Pick Packing in fresh produce or similar industry.
- Demonstrated experience leading a small-medium size team.
- Ability to coordinate activities efficiently and effectively.
- Strong team player with good communication skills, fostering a great team culture.
- Forklift licence highly regarded but not essential
- Open to career development and progression.
- Ability to work in an a rostered capacity with early morning (6am) starts.
