Curtin University are currently seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Parking and Traffic Officer to join our Properties, Facilities, and Development (PF&D) team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Be the friendly face assisting staff, students, and visitors with parking and campus road use.
  • Use the latest technology to monitor and manage parking, traffic flow, and speed limits.
  • Play a key role in keeping campus safe by issuing notices and ensuring by-law compliance.
  • Provide hands-on help with jump starts, flat tyres, lockouts, directions, and first aid.
  • Patrol car parks and roads to spot hazards, support security, and promote a safe environment.
  • Support major events and emergencies with traffic control, cordons, and area management.
We are looking for someone with:
  • A genuine commitment to delivering outstanding customer service to a diverse community.
  • Excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong time management abilities to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Technical proficiency in using technology to issue infringements and manage parking information.
  • A high level of integrity and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Previous experience in parking and traffic management is highly desired. ROCS qualifications are advantageous; however training will be provided to the right candidate.
Role Requirements:
  • Level of fitness commensurate with the position.
  • Ability to work outdoors and outside of normal office hours.
  • Possess a current WA drivers' licence.
  • As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered.
  • Successful applicants are subject to a National Police Clearance, and background, integrity, and reference checks to Curtin’s satisfaction.
  • Current First Aid Certificate (desirable).
