Payroll Officer

We're looking for a Payroll Officer to join us in a permanent, part time role for 30 hours per week. Become part of the Plexure team based in Auckland CBD with 1 - 3 office days per week & flexi hours. You'll also enjoy a long list of amazing benefits (which you'll find below).

What will you do?

• Process payroll for 250+ people across NZ & Australia.
• Liaise with third party pay providers in Poland & Japan.
• Verify time sheet records and consult employees on any discrepancies.
• Become the go-to person for all payroll queries.
• Conduct leave balance reconciliations between our HRIS and payroll system.
• Tools & systems: Bamboo (HRIS), Smartly, Xero, Excel.

What are we looking for?

• At least 2 years of experience processing payroll for 50+ people within NZ.
• Good understanding of NZ legislation and how it impacts payroll (Wages Act, Holidays Act, Kiwisaver etc).
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  
• Excellent time management skills.
• Experience processing payroll in Australia would be a big plus!
