Part-Time Accountant

At Aviant, we enable autonomous parcel delivery by drone. After starting in the labs at MIT in 2020, Aviant has signed twelve commercial contracts in Scandinavia, flown over 5,000 flights covering more than 40,000 km, built a robust team of 20 people, and managed to take a leading position in the European drone market. Due to solid commercial traction, we need someone to help us with administrative operations.

We have recently launched a home delivery service in collaboration with Foodora (link to article), one of two live European drone delivery services. As an accountant on Aviant’s business team, you will have the unique opportunity to help all backoffice related to running this service. The role is flexible, with options to work hybrid or fully remotely. In addition, you will be a part of a real start-up team that is working to change the ways of home delivery and make society more efficient.

As a part-time accountant, you will be responsible for accounting and improving financial operations. You will have the opportunity to optimize our cost and spending strategies, as well as provide analytical insights to improve financial performance. We are looking for a resourceful person comfortable with responsibility and independent work.

Our ideal candidate:

• 3rd - 5th-year student in accounting, business analytics, business administration, or related field

• Has demonstrated the ability to work independently on challenging tasks
• Is interested in a startup environment
