We are seeking friendly and energetic janitorial staff to work in a childcare facility in the in the Monroe, GA area. The part-time position is Monday to Friday after 5:00 PM and the shift is approximately 2 hours long (approximately 10 hours per week). The hourly rate of pay is $21 to $23 depending on experience. Janitorial experience is required and you must be able to pass a comprehensive criminal background check.

- Perform general clean up of all areas of the building as directed. Including areas such as bathrooms, offices, classrooms, gymnasiums, and auditoriums daily.
- Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas, green space and/or parking lots
- Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders
- Remove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick-up
- Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
- Ensure rooms are maintained and fully equipped
Janitor qualifications and skills
- Willingness to work early morning or late night shifts
- Ability to work well under minimal supervision
- Capacity to take direction
- Strong attention to detail
- Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30 pounds as necessary
- Physically capable of walking up to 3 miles
- Physically capable of bending, stooping and reaching up
