Responsibilities
As an automotive parts advisor, you will be responsible for:
- helping customers find the appropriate parts for their vehicle
- researching and finding products/solutions for customer needs
- processing orders for customers over the phone and over the counter
- shipping and receiving orders
- performing inventory counts
- stocking shelves when needed
- helping keep the sales area clean and tidy
You will also be responsible for delivering orders to customers.
Requirements
- automotive experience is an asset, but not a requirement
- must be willing to learn, and to keep learning throughout employment
- a valid first aid certificate is not required to apply, but you will be expected to complete a first aid course within the first three months of employment
- must be reasonably proficient with computers
- must be able to lift a minimum of 25 kg
- must be able to provide (upon request) relatively clean driver's abstract, and explain any violations if not clean - PLEASE NOTE, you do not need to have an abstract to apply, you can submit this later
