Payroll Administrator job opportunity

Part of a Team responsible for weekly payroll of 900+ employees

· Collate payroll information received from each business unit

· Review information for accuracy and resolve all queries before processing

· Payroll information to be processed in Sage Payroll Package

· Prepare Bank file for upload

· Prepare payroll reports for Management on a weekly basis

· Prepare and post weekly payroll journal to accounting package

· Maintain Employee Master file and Data Base on a weekly basis

· Close out on all payroll leavers

· Dealing with queries from Employees, Depot Managers and Accountants

· Completing forms for Employees, i.e. Salary Certificates

· Ad hoc reports and analysis as needed

· Working as part of a payroll team

The Applicant needs the following Key Competencies

· Ability to work to tight deadlines

· An extremely high level of attention to detail and accuracy

· Ability to work with a high level of confidentiality

· Effective communication and problem-solving skills

· A good level of spoken and written English

· An ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Strong work ethic

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €40,000.00-€45,000.00 per year

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Blarney, County Cork: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • Payroll Processing: 2 years (required)

Language:

  • A good level of English both written & spoken (required)

Work authorisation:

  • Ireland (required)

Work Location: In person
