Soilse Pharmacy Newbridge is recruiting a technician for a busy pharmacy in Newbridge.

This full-time position (37.5 hours per week) over 5 days Monday to Saturday with weekends rostered as applicable. There are NO Sundays, Bank Holidays. There is an excellent supports in place to enable you to deal with he steady stream of customers. The Dispensary IT system is Touchstore.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintain the proper storage and security conditions for drugs including stock rotation. Ensure that all drugs are fit for supply and in date. Stock must be regularly checked to identify expired or short dated stock.
• Follow ordering procedures to and maintain adequate stock levels. Receive and store incoming supplies, verify quantities against invoices and inform suppliers of shortages
• Respond to questions and requests from customers in person, on the phone and other communication channels. Maintain and establish accurate individual patient profiles
• Ensure that the information on the prescriptions received is complete & accurately & efficiently dispense medication in accordance with the Prescribers and Pharmacists direction.
• Ensure an orderly filing system of prescriptions that have been dispensed & any necessary paperwork and procedures required to process the HSE end of month claim is complete.
• Comply with a daily cleaning regime to ensure that the work ares of the dispensary and the associated equipment are kept clean and tidy.
• Fully comply with all company procedures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €15.00-€18.00 per hour

• Pharmacy: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
