Pharmacy Technician – Plaza Pharmacy, Swords

Plaza Pharmacy, Swords is seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, providing excellent customer service, and supporting the day-to-day operation of a busy community pharmacy.

No late nights or bank holidays as we open from 9am until 6pm Monday to Friday only.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions.
• Provide a professional and friendly service to customers.
• Handle customer queries and direct patients to the pharmacist when appropriate.
• Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Manage stock control, ordering, and merchandising of pharmacy products.
• Maintain high standards of organisation, cleanliness, and presentation throughout the pharmacy.
• Support the team in achieving excellent patient care and customer satisfaction.
• Operate the pharmacy computer system and process sales transactions.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy procedures and regulations.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified Pharmacy Technician or currently working towards a recognised Pharmacy Technician qualification.
• Passionate about helping customers and building positive relationships with people.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, approachable, and professional manner.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Previous pharmacy or healthcare experience is desirable but not essential.

Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time (as applicable)

Opening Hours: Monday to Friday from 9am until 6pm
