Clonminch Pharmacy is looking to hire a pharmacy technician to join our dispensary team in Tullamore.

Hours:

• 3 to 5 days per week depending on the preference of the successful candidate.
• No late nights
• No Sundays
• No bank holidays
• Requirement to work every 2nd Saturday

Duties & Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
• Ensure that drugs are stored safely and securely.
• Order medicines from approved suppliers
• Ensure the maintenance of standards of clinical hygiene within the pharmacy
• Identify and report deficiencies in medications management systems and processes, where applicable.
• Participate in innovation and technological improvements in the Pharmacy service, as appropriate to the role.
• Assist in the training and induction of new pharmacy staff

Qualification Criteria

• (I)the Pharmaceutical Technicians Diploma awarded by the University of Dublin
• (II)the Pharmacy Technicians qualification at QQI Level 6 awarded by Technological University Dublin, Technological University of the Shannon (Athlone), Atlantic Technological University (Letterkenny), of South East Technological University (Carlow)
• (III) the Pharmacy Services Certificate (NVQ 3) offered by the Irish Pharmaceutical Union.
• A relevant qualification at least equivalent to (II) or (III) above.

Pay: €19.00-€20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 23.0 – 38.75 per week
