We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will manage a diverse orthopedic caseload, collaborating closely with Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and ancillary staff. This position offers unique opportunities for professional growth and autonomy.

Job Essentials

• Maintains current knowledge of standard physical therapy practices for various patient populations.
• Provides competent services including treatment.
• Performs subjective and objective evaluation according to diagnosis, past history, and physician referral while developing a plan of care with appropriate goals and objectives based on patient evaluation.
• Maintains appropriate documentation for each patient in a complete, thorough, and timely manner.
• They also assist in preparing patient billing in an accurate and timely manner.
• Appropriately communicates with patients, families, physicians, case workers, and other healthcare staff regarding needs, abilities, and goals of the patients. Ensures smooth clinic operations.
• Effectively utilizes rehabilitation services with optimum patient care and response.
• Responsible for all aspects of patient care and education for assigned patients including supervision of all services provided by physical therapy assistants, office staff, and students; ensuring consistent high-quality patient care.
• Participates in continuing education opportunities in accordance with established guidelines.
• Seeks opportunities for new and continual learning.
• Promotes and provides for continuing education for staff.
• Actively participates in the quality improvement process. They are responsible to continually improve clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• May assist manager with department operational oversight including but not limited to schedules, mentoring, supplies, equipment, and department budgets.
• Actively participates in program development and marketing strategies to enhance the physical therapy programs referral base and development of department goals.

Schedule

• Flexible Hours: Monday–Friday, with appointment options spanning 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
• Work-Life Balance: No weekend shifts required and closed for major holidays.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current State license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Basic Computer skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Clinical background experience and skill sets in the outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Speaks Spanish

Physical Requirements:

Carrying, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pulling/Pushing, Seeing, Speaking, Squatting/Kneeling, Standing, and Walking.

Location:

Murray clinic

Pay: $39.00 - $45.00 per hour
