Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the pre-construction phase, providing accurate cost estimates for various construction projects. This position requires a strong understanding of construction management, project management, and cost control to ensure that projects are completed within budget and on schedule. The Estimator will collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to build effective relationships and negotiate contracts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects based on blueprints, specifications, and other relevant documents.
• Analyze project requirements and develop comprehensive pricing strategies that align with company goals.
• Collaborate with project managers to assess project scope and provide insights on cost control measures.
• Conduct site visits to gather necessary information for accurate estimates and assess existing conditions.
• Build strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and negotiate contracts effectively.
• Maintain organized documentation of estimates, contracts, and correspondence related to each project.
• Monitor ongoing projects to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and assist in identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of construction management principles, project management techniques, and cost control practices.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail in preparing accurate estimates.
• Ability to build relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers while negotiating favorable terms.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration within teams.
• Familiarity with contract negotiation processes and construction site operations is preferred.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
