The Venue
Our Cinnabon Victoria production kitchen, strategically located in Yarraville, plays a central role in supporting our expansion efforts across the north and west regions. This purpose-built facility is fully equipped with state-of-the-art tools and machinery, enabling efficient production of high-quality ingredients. It serves as a crucial hub, ensuring a steady supply of key ingredients to our retail stores, helping maintain consistency and quality across all locations. With its capacity to scale production, the kitchen is an integral part of our growing operations, ensuring that each store can meet customer demands with ease.
Position Overview: The Kitchen Hand helps ensure the smooth daily operation of the kitchen. This role involves physical tasks like lifting, moving, and organizing ingredients and supplies. Working closely with the production team, the Kitchen Hand will help keep the kitchen clean, safe, and organized, making sure all ingredients and equipment are ready for production.
Days & Hours: Monday to Sunday 7:00am-4:30pm (Shift work)
Job Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of baked goods recipes and production methods
- Assist with ingredient preparation and handling for production
- Lift and transport heavy items, such as ingredients, supplies, and equipment (up to 25kg)
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization, adhering to health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Assist the production team in meeting daily operational targets
- Excellent time-management skills
- Monitor stock levels and inform supervisors when supplies are low
- Follow company safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
- Able to work independently or collaboratively within a team
Main Tasks:
- Weighing and measuring ingredients for baked goods preparation and producing essential store ingredients (e.g., dough, frosting, BSM, etc.)
- Preparing and producing ingredients for production
- Emptying and cleaning equipment
- Cleaning, restocking workstations, and ensuring all equipment is sanitised and ready for the next shift
- Storing delivered ingredients and rotating stock
- Assisting with light warehouse organisation tasks
- Monitoring the quality of produced items
- Maintaining clean and organised workstations
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour
