This position works with plant manager to ensure production is running and being maintained. They also ensure that product is being delivered on time and safely to each assembly line. The floor lead will have product knowledge and verifies that counts and products are accurate when coming off the assembly line.

- Helps production manager with the supervision of employees
- Responsible and trustworthy.
- Communicate with upper management regarding any problems or issues impacting production
- Manage count and quality of inventory
- Provide plant floor leadership for the successful day-to-day operation of facility
- Share business information with teammates through floor presence, suggest improvements to current techniques, and solving problems daily
- Promotes safety awareness and works to ensure a safe work environment.
- Works cooperatively and harmoniously with others to achieve the desired results
- Knowledge of quality control standards for ISO 9001.
- Assists team with queries or requests
- Train others on daily work assignments when needed.
- Other duties can be assigned based on company needs and employee capabilities.

Required Skills / Abilities:
1. Must be able to supervise employees
2. High school diploma or equivalent

6. Maintain equipment and tools to meet all requirements
7. Able to maintain a dependable and flexible work schedule that could include some evenings on rare occasions
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has front line supervisory responsibilities for a group/team of hourly employees.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a manufacturing environment. This role requires communication and ability to work with others
Physical Demands:
This position requires the ability to lift over 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to stand and work on feet for extended periods.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. Will also require some weekend work.
Travel:
No overnight travel is expected for this position. There may be occasional local day travel.
Required Education and Experience:
1. Supervisory experience
2. Manufacturing experience
3. Production line experience
4. Fork-lift experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
1. High school diploma
2. Excellent interpersonal skills
3. Highly organized
