Job Description – Production Manager
The Production Manager provides strategic leadership and supervision to production personnel, overseeing day-to-day operations to meet production schedules efficiently. This role focuses on maximizing productivity, ensuring consistent quality standards, and controlling costs. The ideal candidate will proactively enforce all safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Plan, supervise, and motivate team members to achieve established production goals and targets.
- Coordinate and execute production schedules, optimizing resource allocation to meet objectives efficiently.
- Champion overall workplace and food safety, continuously improving practices to maintain compliance and safety standards.
- Mentor, coach, and develop team members, fostering professional growth and team performance.
- Manage and monitor production activities, ensuring accuracy, high quality, and timely completion.
- Implement cost-effective strategies to optimize labor utilization, equipment performance, and material usage.
- Develop and execute action plans to address and resolve production performance challenges.
- Maintain proactive communication with cross-functional departments, addressing production priorities and resolving operational shortfalls promptly.
- Evaluate performance metrics to identify issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions to enhance quality and productivity.
- Provide regular training and guidance regarding safety, GMP compliance, sanitation, quality assurance, and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure consistent adherence to all food safety protocols.
- Execute additional projects and tasks as required by management.
Work Experience & Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the food manufacturing industry and in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with computers and relevant software applications.
- Solid understanding of food manufacturing processes and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
