POSITION DESCRIPTION
About the role
In this dynamic leadership position, you will be responsible for organising, developing and implementing a comprehensive professional learning and development framework that supports our team to thrive and deliver excellence aligned with the National Quality Framework. You will lead a team of Trainers and Assessors, foster strong RTO partnerships, and lead training and professional learning to support continuous improvement and strengthening educator capibility.

You're a confident leader and experienced educator with a deep understanding of adult learning, vocational training, and early childhood education. You're passionate about professional growth and are committed to driving quality and capability across an organisation.
Skills and Experiences:
EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in designing and delivering professional development and best practice programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Strong understanding of RTO compliance requirements and vocational education standards.
- Demonstrated experience leading a team of Trainers and Assessors to successfully deliver formal qualification programs through RTO partnerships.
- Experience in developing external partnerships to enhance formal qualification offers for St Nicholas employees.
- Strong knowledge and experience of learning management systems (LMS).
- Experience with various assessment tools – summative, formative, competency based.
- Comprehensive understanding of RTO Standards, NSW Smart and Skilled contract and the AQF and abide by them at all times.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE 40116 or as specified by the standards.
- Qualification in Learning & Development, Education or related field.
- Extensive experience in development and the delivery of sector related learning.
- Minimum 5 years previous experience working as a Trainer/Assessor.
- Class C Driver’s License and willingness to travel to regional location.
- Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience (Desirable)
- Previous experience in Vocational Education and Training across a multi-site operation (Desirable)
