Project Director - Offshore

We are seeking to fulfill the role of a Project Director, with extensive project management experience to support our client on the delivery of an exciting Offshore project.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading the development and delivery of complex multi Offshore and Packages.
• Accountable for defining, developing, interfacing, and delivering complex multi-package projects safely, while managing time, budget, quality, and key performance indicators to ensure successful completion.
• Oversee FEED detailed design, and ensuring technical compliance.
• Liaise with the engineering, construction and procurement teams to ensure alignment with project objectives and technical requirements.
• Foster, sustain, and oversee strong relationships with internal key stakeholders and external partners.
• Participate actively in the Health and Safety and Quality initiatives.
• Identity and mitigate project risks and issues to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Assess and identity opportunities for improvement and make suggestions.
• Adopt a proactive approach to risk management and strategies.
• Collaborate as part of the Project Leadership team to enhance the project delivery strategy.
• Conduct regular project reviews and progress meetings with stakeholders to monitor performance and address any issues.
• Ownership for package governance, programme, risk, budget and resource requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree or qualification in Engineering /Project Management or equivalent.
• Chartered in a relevant profession/discipline.
• 15+ years of demonstrated experience in project management within the Offshore Energy environment managing large scale projects.
• Strong communication, negotiation and conflict management skills at management and operational levels.
• Commercial awareness with strong vendor management and compliance skills.
• Experience working with EPC Contracts; FIDIC, NEC etc.
• Willingness to travel when required within Ireland.
