The Role

We need a Project Manager who can orchestrate complex electrical projects from sale through commissioning while keeping our operations running smoothly. You'll be the connective tissue between customers, engineering, manufacturing, and field teams—managing everything from $50K engineering projects to multi-million dollar site installations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead custom engineering projects: scope, budget, timeline, stakeholder communication
• Track standard product orders and identify process breakdowns before they become problems
• Coordinate installations and commissioning activities (scheduling, logistics, accommodations)
• Serve as customer advocate with EPCs, contractors, and end-users
• Hold purchasing, manufacturing, and operations teams accountable to timelines
• Prepare project documentation and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders
• Identify and implement process improvements

What You Bring

Required:

• Engineering degree (Electrical, Mechanical, or related)
• PMP certification or equivalent
• 5+ years project management experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial equipment
• Exceptional communication skills - you translate technical complexity clearly for diverse audiences
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
• Customer empathy - you genuinely care about solving customer problems
• Accountability - you own outcomes and follow through on commitments
• Collaborative leadership - you influence without direct authority

Strongly Preferred:

• Familiarity with electrical power systems (transformers, switchgear, generators)
• Experience with industrial/electrical equipment manufacturing
• Understanding of IEEE, CSA, UL, or IEC standards
• Experience working with EPCs or contractors in the electrical industry
