Do you already have a few years of experience in Project Management, and are you looking for an opportunity to be a part of a commercial environment in an international and fast-growing commercial real estate business? We are looking for an ambitious and independent Project Manager / Advisor to join our Project Management team.

The role:

You will be part of a dynamic and committed team that handles project management within commercial real estate and plans and executes a full suite of customized services on our clients' behalf. This includes everything from creating a project plan, negotiating project costs and mitigating risks to accelerating project delivery and project management until completion.

This role offers an opportunity to strengthen your project management experience and broaden your skill set further into commercial property, with exposure to both clients and key influencers. You will be providing project management services to property investors, developer clients, and occupiers, primarily within the office, retail, and logistics sectors, depending on your background and interests.

You will be directly involved in the delivery of high-profile projects in the Nordic region and will have full responsibility for your own projects. The role focuses to general project management on office, retail and industrial projects but will benefit from construction and/or technical proficiency.

Key responsibilities:

In this role you will plan and take ownership of projects of various sizes and complexities; provide project management delivery services to developers, institutional investors and occupiers on a broad range of projects. You’ll get to assist with and manage the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of projects, ensuring consistency with CBRE’s company strategy, commitments and goals.

You will manage internal and external project teams (consulting and contracting) and clients’ stakeholders in the successful delivery of all projects and lead the planning and implementation of projects. You will define project tasks and resource requirements, monitoring and reporting on progress of the projects to all stakeholders.
You’ll get to participate in the management of project budgets and project changes; procure, compare and tender consultants, services, contractors and suppliers in projects of various sizes. You will present reports that define project progress, problems, and solutions.

Your duties will also include identifying opportunities to cross-sell other CBRE service lines and identifying fee earning opportunities within the internal CBRE marketplace and the external marketplace. You will contribute to and assist in the management of new business pipeline and offers, as well as provide efficient and timely support to other CBRE service lines. Finally, you will consult and create studies, cost estimate and project plans.

Your profile will benefit from:

  • Few years of experience in project management within the real estate industry working with high-profile clients in sectors such as logistics, hotels & hospitality, retail, corporate offices, or residential
  • Experience in managing occupier clients (tenants) and their project organization.
  • Experience in supervision, construction supervision, and/or construction foreman work, site engineer or technical designer (HVAC)
  • Preferably experience working on different sides in the project delivery cycle, including as a client advisor, client, technical advisor, designer or contractor
  • Preferably experience in cost accounting, budgeting and financial reporting
  • Demonstrable knowledge of project management techniques and tools
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to form strong and productive relationships at all levels
  • Demonstrated time management skills, focusing appropriate resources to meet client and project objectives
  • Fluency in both Finnish and English
