Description:
To manage the quality of incoming and outgoing produce to ensure that it conforms to established specifications of quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct quality assessments on incoming and outgoing products against customer specifications.
• Conduct compliance checks in accordance with customer specifications.
• Conduct daily product retention (incoming and EOSL) and shelf life assessments.
• Conduct site GMP checks to ensure that GMP, HACCP, and Food Safety are compliance.
• Conduct Regional Distribution Center (RDC) and other staff training in GMP.
• Attend to administrative tasks and duties in relation to all QA documentation.
• Conduct and record cool room temperature checks daily.
• Escalate any issues in relation to quality and Technical principles, protocols, and processes.
• Attend and actively participate in team meetings as required.
• Be proactive and participate in recommending solutions to improve team performance.
• Manage all associated tasks and priorities in a professional and timely manner.
• Inspect stock both incoming and outgoing to ensure the required quality standards are adhered to.

Skills and Experiences:
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

⦁ Demonstrated organisational skills and a methodical approach to work.
⦁ Planning skills to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment
⦁ Work well under pressure with the ability to meet tight deadlines
⦁ HACCP awareness would be highly regarded
⦁ Practical knowledge and experience working in a warehouse/distribution facility, fresh produce highly desirable
⦁ Ability to comply with and support workplace health and safety requirements
⦁ Attention to detail
⦁ Positive attitude and optimistic approach to work
⦁ Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, especially Excel)
⦁ Excellent team working and communication skills

This role requires you to be onsite, Monday to Friday, starts from 5:30 AM.
