Quality Control Technician

Granning Group are seeking a skilled and motivated person to join their team as a Quality Control Technician within Product development and Quality department in Naas, Co Kildare. As Part of your role, you will ensure that the Quality of our goods from our suppliers and products manufactured internally meet our highest quality standards.

Duties will include:

• Inspecting goods or products according to quality and safety standards.
• Identifying possible areas for improvement in quality control processes
• Inspection and quality control within Brake caliper remanufacturing production process
• Reporting quality anomalies
• Initiate corrective actions to have final products within required specifications.
• Undertake special projects as required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities.
• Quality control of work by appropriate reviews
• Support and participate in process improvement activities.

· Product warranty inspections for technical and quality evaluation and improvement with suppliers or internal production.

· Assist with the writing and updating of inspection procedures, protocols and checklists as the product ranges expand and evolve to ensure product quality.

Requirements:

· 1+ years of Quality Control Experience Preferable

· Related Degree or similar qualification or on job experience

· Competency in using measurement instruments and reading technical drawings.

· General proficiency of Microsoft Excel and Word

· Basic proficiency with 2D or 3D CAD skills preferred.

· Excellent spoken and written communication skills.

· Experience within the automotive industry is preferred but not essential.

Salary will be up to €36k p.a., dependent on qualification and experience.

This position is based in Naas, Co Kildare and hours of work are 8 am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

Pay: €36,000.00 per year
