We are looking for a

Quality Engineer, Suppliers

to join our Safety, Sustainability and Quality (SSQ) -team located in Iisalmi.

In this versatile position you will follow-up suppliers´ quality, develop quality control practices and processes, and take care of supplier claim handling. You will also participate on quality-, environment-, and safety systems´ internal auditing and process development. Our suppliers globally will be your key stakeholders in addition to internal interfaces such as sourcing, factory functions, R&D, and other SSQ team. You will also co-operate with your colleagues in India and Chile. In this position you aim for the continuous improvement of supplier quality.

Main responsibilities and tasks:

Supplier quality control development globally
Supplier quality requirements and control plans development
Supplier auditing and improving actions coordination & follow up
Support on supplier related warranty handling

To shine in this position, we hope you have:

Already some experience of business processes in manufacturing industry
Understanding of manufacturing methods on steel structure production is considered as an asset
Understanding of ISO 9001 management system and use of quality management methods and tools
M.Sc./B.Sc. in engineering or industrial engineering or other technical education
Collaboration and interaction skills – ability to influence others and engage people to development and working towards common goals
Analytical and developmental way of working
Self-driven working methods
Assertive, service and follow-through mind-set
Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to quickly changing priorities
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in Finnish and English
Good ICT-skills, experience of Power BI -tools and MS Excel
