Receptionist Required

Brampton Care are expanding our Admin team. We are a CARF accredited facility and operate a nursing home along with a Soley dedicated Neurorehabilitation facility.

We are located just off the motorway in Oranmore and this makes us accessible to travel from a variety of locations.

The Role

As a receptionist, you will play a vital role in the smooth day-to-day running of the front desk. You will be the welcoming face of our home and help to create a positive, respectful, and supportive environment for everyone who enters. This is a permeant position and can offer the successful candidate Full or Part time hours.

Please note this role will inc weekend work

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors, residents, and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails.
  • Manage front desk operations, including booking appointments and logging visitors.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, photocopying, and post distribution.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold GDPR and safeguarding procedures.
  • Support management with general clerical duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role (preferably in a healthcare or residential care setting).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Friendly, empathetic, and calm under pressure.
  • A team player with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).

Desirable

  • Experience working in a nursing home or healthcare environment.
  • Knowledge of HIQA standards and basic understanding of elderly care.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €14.50-€16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
