Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including outpatient facilities and memory care units. This role requires excellent clinical skills, the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, and a passion for improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate patient health needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Monitor patient progress and provide education on health management and disease prevention.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records, including Cerner systems.
  • Provide specialized care in areas such as critical care, trauma medicine, ostomy care, and sonography when necessary.
  • Maintain a sterile environment during procedures and assist with sterile processing as needed.
  • Advocate for patients' needs and rights while fostering a supportive environment for their families.

Skills

  • Strong clinical skills in patient care across various settings, including outpatient and primary care.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record systems, particularly Cerner.
  • Knowledge of trauma medicine and critical care practices.
  • Experience in memory care settings is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to perform ostomy care and other specialized nursing procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and patient management.

Qualifications:

  • Current appropriate state licensure.
  • Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification
  • Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed.

Pay: $33.02 - $35.72 per hour
