We have an excellent opportunity within Value Van Rental Limited to join our well-established vehicle hire/rental business in North Dublin.

We are looking for an intuitive and independent candidate to join our Rental Desk team. We are seeking individuals who want a long-term permanent position within a busy, thriving, and ambitious business.

The position will be full-time. Reporting to the office Manager, this Rental Desk Agent will be the face of our rental office. The candidate will have a hands-on approach and will be committed to the expansion and success of the business. Ability to use own initiative, with excellent attention to detail, a must.

Proven ability to work well within a team or independently and take the lead when required.

Excellent communication, organisational and multi-tasking skills.

Good work ethic with ability to deliver and meet deadlines. A problem solver with a ‘can do’ attitude.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES INCLUDE (BUT NOT EXHAUSTIVE):

They will be responsible for renting and inspection in vehicles at various locations. Making reservations for the required location. They will assist in all areas of the branch including administration, Data entry and processing rental agreements. Build a positive environment to always ensure customer satisfaction.

Experience and Skill

Have experience in providing superior customer service. Full clean B driving licence held for a minimum of 2 years. Minimum 2 years in customer service-oriented role

Excellent phone handling/communication skills. Strong IT skills and proficient in Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) Excellent attention to detail and conscientious approach to work. A proven track record in retail sales is beneficial.
