Position Summary

We are looking for a lively and detail-focused Reservations Assistant to join our dynamic team. You will be the first point of contact for guests booking their stay, helping to create a seamless and energetic start to their Moxy experience. Your mission? Keep things organised, provide outstanding service, and help us fill the house with happy guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle guest reservations via phone, email, and online systems with accuracy and enthusiasm.
  • Ensure all bookings are entered correctly in the PMS (Property Management System).
  • Respond to guest inquiries, special requests, and group reservations in a timely and friendly manner.
  • Monitor availability and work closely with the front office and revenue teams to optimise occupancy and rates.
  • Liaise with group bookings.
  • Assist with reporting, data entry, and auditing of reservations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Liaise with third-party booking platforms to resolve discrepancies.
  • Promote hotel services and upsell room types or packages where appropriate.
  • Be an ambassador of the Moxy brand—energetic, approachable, and always guest-focused.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a hotel reservations or front office role preferred.
  • Familiarity with Opera V5, MARSHA, or similar PMS systems is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with a flair for problem-solving.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays if required.
