Description:
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Residential Care Services Manager to lead care delivery at our Kingia and Tandara Care Centres. Reporting to the Head of Residential Care, you will provide overall leadership and management of care services, leading and developing clinical and care teams to deliver exceptional, person centred care that meets regulatory, organisational, and community standards.
This role suits an exceptional leader with a strong background in residential aged care or a similar setting, outstanding people management capability, and a genuine passion for high quality resident care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of the nursing and caring philosophy and objectives at the care centres.
- Development and implementation of policies and standards of practice for the care centres in liaison with the Executive Team.
- Contributes to generic policies as required within the organisation.
- Participates through memberships on relevant committees in overall management planning for the care centres.
- Applies relevant aspects of current legislation, policies and regulations to the management of the care centres.
- Complies with relevant legislation, policies, and the nursing code of ethics.
- Contributes to selecting appropriate strategies to maintain optimal services for residents, in particular, achievement of Aged Care Quality Standards.

Key Role Requirements:
- Substantial experience working at a senior level in the aged care sector.
- Proven financial, HR and business management experience in the aged care sector.
- Sound knowledge of AN-ACC, Aged Care Quality Standards and accreditation.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to develop sound relationships with all stakeholders.
- Competent in the Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Permanent working rights in Australia.
- National Police Clearance.
- Eligible for registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse - Division One.
- Undergraduate and post graduate qualifications in a relevant discipline.
