Dunbrody Country House Hotel Ireland - a luxury boutique hotel in Co. Wexford. Located on the dramatic Hook Peninsula on Ireland’s south coast, Dunbrody House has been operated and managed by husband and wife team Kevin & Catherine Dundon for over 25 years. This luxury hotel in Ireland reflects their joint passion for excellence in all areas - fine food and a friendly, relaxed service combined with 22 luxury bedrooms and suites all within the centuries-old walls of this beautiful Georgian property.
Dunbrody Country House is looking to grow the Food and Beverage team with an experienced hospitality professional. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the industry and be eager to learn, grow and also bring their skillset to the team.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Creating weekly schedules in line with payroll targets
- Maintaining strong beverage margins by managing stock and pricing
- Preparing and serving drinks: The candidate must be able to prepare and serve a wide variety of drinks, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, in a timely and efficient manner. Training provided
- Providing excellent customer service: The candidate must be friendly, engaging, and personable, providing excellent customer service to customers at all times.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy bar: The candidate is responsible for keeping the bar area clean and tidy, including wiping down surfaces, restocking supplies, and disposing of waste.
- Managing inventory: The candidate must manage the inventory of drinks, ordering supplies as needed and ensuring that stock levels are maintained.
- Processing payments: The candidate must be able to process payments, including cash, credit, and debit transactions, and reconcile the till at the end of each shift.
- Creating a welcoming atmosphere: The candidate must create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the bar, interacting with customers and ensuring that they feel comfortable and valued.
- Following safety protocols: The candidate must follow all safety protocols and procedures, especially when serving alcohol, to ensure the safety of themselves and customers.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €35,000.00-€40,000.00 per year
