About Us:

The Clermont is an upscale dining destination known for excellent food, premium beverages, and outstanding customer service. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our dynamic team.

Role Overview:

As Restaurant Supervisor, you will support the Restaurant Manager in the smooth running of front-of-house operations. You will lead shifts, motivate the team, and ensure high service standards are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
  • Lead, train, and support front-of-house staff.
  • Manage the restaurant’s booking system and respond to guest enquiries and reservations both online and over the phone.
  • Maintain excellent communication with the kitchen and bar teams.
  • Manage floor plans, reservations, and table turns effectively.
  • Uphold company standards in service, cleanliness, and presentation.
  • Handle guest queries and resolve complaints professionally.
  • Assist with stock control, cash handling, and end-of-day reporting.

Requirements:

  • Previous supervisory or senior front-of-house experience in a restaurant/hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership and people skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • A passion for delivering premium service.
  • Ability to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work weekends and demonstrate flexibility midweek.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €27,000.00-€35,706.95 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dundalk, CO. Louth: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

  • hospitality: 2 years (required)
