We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations in a busy dining establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a welcoming environment for guests. The Restaurant Supervisor will play a key role in ensuring smooth service, high-quality food preparation, and overall restaurant excellence.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff, including servers, cooks, and baristas to ensure efficient service delivery
• Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards and food safety compliance
• Assist with food handling procedures, ensuring proper hygiene and safety protocols are followed
• Monitor restaurant operations to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
• Train new staff members in food service, hospitality standards, and restaurant policies
• Manage daily inventory levels of food supplies and kitchen equipment
• Enforce cleanliness standards in the kitchen and dining areas
• Support staff during busy periods by serving customers or preparing food as needed
• Lead by example in demonstrating professionalism, hospitality, and leadership within the team

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service, restaurant management, or hospitality roles with supervising responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
• Previous experience in restaurant or kitchen environments is highly desirable
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally
• Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
• Familiarity with food handling procedures and health standards in the food industry
• Barista experience is a plus for establishments serving coffee or specialty beverages
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Exceptional communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork
