Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Retail Team Leader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a passion for retail, with a focus on driving sales and enhancing the customer experience.

Duties

• Lead and supervise a team of retail associates, fostering a positive work environment
• Manage daily store operations, including inventory control, merchandising, and cash handling
• Conduct employee orientation, training & development, and performance evaluations
• Oversee recruitment processes including interviewing and onboarding new team members
• Ensure adherence to company policies regarding payroll and budgeting
• Utilize retail math for pricing strategies and inventory management
• Implement effective sales management techniques to achieve store goals
• Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues
• Monitor sales performance and develop strategies to enhance productivity
• Collaborate with management on marketing initiatives and promotional activities

Experience

• Proven experience in retail management or as an assistant manager is preferred
• Strong background in supervising teams with demonstrated leadership abilities
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and bookkeeping practices
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and staff
• Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions
• Proficient in organizational skills with strong time management abilities
• Experience in inventory management, merchandising, stocking, and pricing strategies is essential
