The Arlington Hotel is currently seeking a full-time Sales Administrator to join our team. This is a front-of-house, customer-facing role involving the promotion and sale of Celtic Nights tickets, alongside key administrative responsibilities. The role requires a confident, organised individual with excellent communication skills and a strong customer service focus..

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome visitors by greeting them in person or by telephone, answering or directing enquiries to the appropriate department.
  • Promote and sell Celtic Nights tickets to individual guests, groups, and partner organisations.
  • Manage administrative duties for Celtic Nights bookings, including individual, group, and partner bookings, invoicing, reporting, and general administration.
  • Ensure all phone and email enquiries for both the show and the ground floor are responded to promptly and professionally.
  • Produce detailed function sheets for large events, ensuring all agreed customer details (upsells, special occasions, special requests) are clearly communicated to the Operations team.
  • Work closely with the Sales Executive, Show Manager, and Food & Beverage Manager to ensure effective communication across departments.
  • Carry out additional duties as required by management.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, including Health & Safety, Security, Hygiene, Fire Procedures, Licensing Laws, and Cash Handling/Till Procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year hospitality experience (essential).
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Opera Cloud experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Availability to work weekends is required.
  • Candidates must have the legal right to work full-time in Ireland.
