Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our grain analysis solutions to prospective customers. One key aspect of this role is attending trade shows and industry events to showcase our products and build strong relationships within the agricultural community. Applicants must be willing to travel within Canada and the USA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Prospecting: Identify and engage with potential customers, both new and existing, to understand their needs and promote Prairie Grain Analyzers Inc.'s products and services.
  • Trade Show Participation: Plan and coordinate participation in industry trade shows, exhibitions, and events. Effectively present our products and solutions to a diverse audience.
  • Customer Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with customers and industry partners. Provide exceptional customer service and support.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market developments to better position our offerings.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline in our CRM system.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma degree in a relevant field (agriculture, business, marketing, etc.) preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the agricultural or related industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to travel to attend trade shows and events (approximately 25%-35% travel expected).
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for sales and customer relationship management.
  • Knowledge of agricultural products and grain analysis solutions is a plus.
