Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experience.
• Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently while handling transactions.
• Assist customers with product selection, answering questions, and providing recommendations.
• Maintain stock levels by organizing merchandise on the sales floor and ensuring displays are visually appealing.
• Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
• Communicate promotions and product information effectively to customers.
• Supervise junior staff when necessary, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance.
• Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
• Experience with cash registers or point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of upselling techniques to enhance customer experience is advantageous.
• Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries when necessary.
• A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and meeting customer needs.

Pay: $31,150.27 - $79,664.84 per year
