We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Supervisor to join our team and oversee day-to-day operations within our service department.
Position Summary
The Service Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supervising a team of service technicians to ensure efficient and timely service, maintenance, and repair of equipment or systems. This role involves managing workflows, maintaining safety and compliance standards, fostering customer satisfaction, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of the service department, including scheduling and dispatching technicians.
- Monitor and manage service performance metrics (e.g., response time, job completion).
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety policies, industry regulations, and company standards.
- Provide hands-on technical support and guidance as needed.
- Maintain communication with customers to ensure satisfaction, updates, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with parts and inventory teams to ensure availability of necessary tools and components.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance evaluations, and technician training.
- Manage documentation, including service reports, timesheets, and maintenance records.
- Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions.
- Assist with budgeting, cost control, and resource planning.
Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in a service technician or supervisor role.
- Strong technical knowledge in [industry-specific systems or equipment].
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Proficient in service management software and MS Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Prior experience in [specific industry: e.g., heavy equipment, HVAC, utilities]
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,531.47-$70,000.00 per year
