About Us:
Conval Process Solutions Inc. is a leading distributor of valves and instrumentation, dedicated to providing innovative solutions to industrial companies and municipalities. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Shop Technician to join our team and support our growth.
Job Description:
As a Shop Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our products.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing mechanical and electrical assembly of valves and automation equipment
- Conducting assembly of pressure gauges/switches and diaphragm seals/isolation rings
- Conducting calibration and testing of process instrumentation, including pressure gauges
- Assisting in shipping and receiving operations
- Possibly engaging in field work as needed
Requirements:
- Mechanical aptitude and experience
- Electrical experience is an asset
- Familiarity with valve and automation systems
- Understanding of process instrumentation and calibration
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality
