Duties:
- Operate snow plow equipment, either a skid steer or plow truck, to clear commercial parking lots, during winter weather conditions
- Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely and efficient snow removal
- Remain on call for duration of contract, Nov 15th - March 31st. Monitor weather conditions and be available within 2 hours notice of likely weather event
- Clear snow from entrances, exits, and emergency routes to maintain safe access
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate snow removal efforts
Skills:
- Experience in the on-call, snow and ice industry
- Ability to operate and maintain snow plow equipment effectively (Skid steers / plow trucks)
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and ability to troubleshoot minor issues
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Summer positions in maintenance and hardscaping available for exceeding candidates.
Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 5 months
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- Landscape maintenance: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Class G Licence (preferred)
