Description:
Now is your opportunity to be part of the Pillow Talk Fabric, by joining us in this highly exciting State Manager role which is based in Victoria but will also have South Australia as part of their remit. As a State Manager at Pillow Talk, you will be responsible for the coaching and development of your leaders, enabling them to successfully manage all operative, financial, and human elements of your designated bricks and mortar footprint. Within your designative states you’ll be charged with creating a happy workforce, maximising profits, minimising procedural waste, and aligning your teams’ overall efforts with the business’s goals.

A bit about you...

  • Proven senior leadership experience in multi-site retail operations, ideally in a customer-first, promotionally driven environment.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to analyse performance, drive profitability, and make data-informed decisions.
  • You’re known for your ability to influence, coach, and inspire bringing people on the journey through authentic leadership, not just direction.
  • Passionate about developing high-performing, accountable teams and fostering a positive store culture.
  • Able to coach leaders to consistently uphold brand presentation, service expectations, and customer-first behaviours.
  • Skilled at optimising store operations, driving efficiency, managing compliance, and ensuring seamless execution of promotional activities.
  • Strong attention to detail and confident working with P&Ls, stock flow, and operational metrics.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and calm under pressure
  • Highly relational and collaborative, with the ability to build trust across all levels of the business.
  • Willing and able to travel regularly to regional stores you know leadership is built through visibility and presence.
  • Comfortable using tech to track metrics, streamline processes, and enhance decision-making.
