The Life of a Tasting Room Ambassador:
- Maintain understanding of customer service, process, and administrative standards; adhere to CedarCreek Estate Winery and company policies, procedures, and standards
- Process customer sales, provide guest service and tastings, set up for tour tastings in production and Aspect House
- Work in a fast team based environment
- Identify opportunities to sell wine, Wine Club, accessories, and tours
- Transition effectively between tasking, sales, and hospitality responsibilities as scheduled
- Provide boutique and hospitality support as directed – set up and tear down tour tastings
- Develop and maintain CedarCreek wine knowledge to support exemplary retail experience
What We’re Looking For:
- University Degree
- Wine education such as WSET Level II, or equivalent (can be completed during first 2 months of employment)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospitality, sales or retail environment
- Must have Serving It Right certification, as well as be of legal age to serve alcohol in BC
- Must be flexible as the hours of work will fluctuate with business volume
- Working days, evenings, and weekends required
- Desire to build a career in wine
- Passionate and driven, with a desire to win
- Sales experience in a competitive environment is an asset
