The Medical Specialities team of Starship Hospital is on the lookout for a Team Administrator to join their friendly team in a permanent full-time capacity.

The Team Administrator provides administrative support to the senior clinical team. Daily tasks may include assisting managers and clinicians with scheduling needs, order stationery/clinical supplies, coordinate travel requirements and complete necessary digital filing.

Please note you will need to have NZ Citizenship, Residency or a valid NZ work visa at the time of application to apply.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Experience working in a team administration or secretarial role for two plus years
• A positive attitude with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• At least two years of customer service experience
• Well-developed communication and critical thinking skills and intermediate to advanced ability in Microsoft applications
• The ability to prioritise work and take proactive approach to manage their time and workload
• A strong commitment to quality healthcare
• Be capable of working independently and within a team
• Experience working in the hospital environment and be familiar with MS Office capability including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
