Job Summary
The Technical Lead role is pivotal in managing and optimizing our iSeries/AS400 systems ensuring seamless operations within the Medicare and Medicaid Claims domain. With a hybrid work model and day shifts the candidate will leverage their expertise to enhance system performance and support business objectives. This role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the administration and maintenance of iSeries/AS400 systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate system enhancements that support Medicare and Medicaid Claims processing.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve system efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular audits to identify and resolve potential issues.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to Medicare and Medicaid Claims.
- Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues minimizing impact on business operations.
- Design and execute system upgrades and patches ensuring minimal disruption to users.
- Document system configurations and procedures to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base.
- Conduct training sessions for team members to enhance their technical skills and understanding of the iSeries/AS400 environment.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance system capabilities.
- Support the companys mission by ensuring that IT systems align with business goals and contribute to improved healthcare services. Qualifications
- Possess strong experience in iSeries/AS400 Administration demonstrating a deep understanding of system architecture and operations.
- Have a solid background in Medicare and Medicaid Claims with the ability to apply domain knowledge to technical solutions.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering effective and efficient solutions.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Show a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies and industry trends.
