Technician - Dispatch Team

We have a great opportunity to join our Dispatch team in a permanent role, based in our Hamilton Head office. Hill Labs is one of the largest commercial laboratories in New Zealand.

This role offers you excellent variety and is 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 10:00 am to 6:30 pm.

Key Focus:

Preparing sampling kits for delivery/customer collection; liaising with our courier service, customers and Client Services Managers; monitoring stock levels/restocking when required.

Some lifting is required in this role.

Experience:

Candidates with experience in logistics and dispatch are preferred, however full training will be given.

The ideal candidate will have the following –

• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to think on your feet, multitask and prioritise a range of different tasks and deadlines
• Great communication skills, verbally and written
• Ability to learn new processes quickly
• Strong focus on customer service
• Ability to work within a small team, but also autonomously
• Basic Word & Excel skills
