Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Title Processor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the preparation and processing of title documents related to real estate transactions. You will work closely with loan officers, clients, and various financial services professionals to ensure that all necessary documentation is accurate and compliant with regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of the title processing workflow.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze loan documents, contracts, and title reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate with loan officers, escrow agents, and underwriting teams to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Prepare necessary title documents for closing, including title commitments and policies.
- Conduct credit analysis and verify financial information as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and industry standards.
- Utilize 10 key typing skills for data entry tasks efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on the status of their transactions.
- Ensure all documentation is properly filed and accessible for future reference.
Skills
- Strong understanding of financial services, including escrow processes and underwriting practices.
- Proficiency in math to perform calculations related to title processing.
- Experience as a loan officer or in a banking environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency with SoftPro
