Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join our team. The Transport Planner will be responsible for coordinating and planning the movement of goods and ensuring efficient transportation operations.
Responsibilities
- Organising and planning transport routes
- Liaising with drivers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely deliveries
- Monitoring transport costs and negotiating contracts
- Utilising logistics software to optimise transport operations
- Ensuring compliance with transportation regulations and health & safety standards
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders
- Excellent organisational abilities to manage transport schedules efficiently
- Knowledge of logistics, supply chain management, and transportation operations
- Leadership skills to coordinate teams and ensure smooth transport operations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €28,000.00-€38,000.00 per year
