Responsibilities

• Supervise Delivery Dept team members and offer coaching to improve performance.
• Standardize processes to promote safety in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Manage truck fleet maintenance, repairs, and replacements to ensure safe/efficient operations.
• Manage equipment, badges, uniforms, phones, etc. needed to successfully complete deliveries.
• Coordinate and schedule daily deliveries; back up routers and drivers when needed.
• Lead daily shift meetings to engage team members, set goals, and report performance.
• Manage payroll, vacations, work schedules, and route assignments.
• Maintain operational records in an orderly fashion; deliver reports and KPIs timely and accurately.
• Perform ride-along with drivers to assess best practices and develop driver performance.
• Keep thorough financial records to oversee purchase orders, invoicing, and billing discrepancies.
• Ensure team members are trained on SOPs and processes are continuously improved.
• Recommend and justify improvements to delivery methodology.

Qualifications

• Proven proficiency in a supervisory role in a final mile delivery service operation
• A background that includes hourly employee performance management and employee coaching
• Deep experience building daily delivery routes with Routing Software (RoadNet Anywhere preferred)
• Demonstrated success in managing the maintenance/repairs of a 10+ box truck fleet; experience must include the evaluation of pricing for services and seeking additional quotes when necessary.
• High school diploma or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
