Position Overview:
We are seeking a Truck Dispatcher with at least 1 year of verified dispatching experience in the North American trucking industry. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of load planning, route optimization, and driver coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, assign, and coordinate loads for company drivers and owner-operators.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, brokers, and customers.
- Monitor truck locations and ensure on-time deliveries.
- Negotiate rates with brokers and manage load boards.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities.
- Handle trip reports, BOLs, and other required paperwork.
- Manage ELD compliance and driver hours.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of verified truck dispatching experience (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of North American freight lanes and border crossings.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in dispatch software and load boards (e.g., DAT, Truckstop).
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
