The Role: We are looking for an exceptionally talented and detail-oriented Creative Video Editor who will be instrumental in crafting captivating visual content for our social media channels and overall brand presence. You will transform raw footage into stunning videos that not only showcase the beauty of our handloom sarees but also resonate deeply with our audience, elevating Aankona's brand identity. This role requires a keen eye for aesthetics, a deep understanding of visual storytelling, and a collaborative spirit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize & Edit: Develop compelling video concepts and execute end-to-end video editing, transforming raw footage into polished, high-quality visual stories that align with Aankona's brand voice and aesthetic.
• Visual Enhancement: Expertly apply video effects, transitions, and motion graphics to create dynamic and engaging content for platforms like Instagram Reels, YouTube, Facebook, and our website.
• Design Integration: Utilize strong graphic design skills, particularly in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, to create custom graphics, text overlays, and visual assets that seamlessly integrate into video projects.
• Post-Production Mastery: Perform precise color correction and grading to ensure visual consistency and enhance the mood of each video.
• Audio Excellence: Implement effective sound design, including music selection, sound effects, and audio mixing, to create an immersive viewing experience.
• Storytelling & Flow: Develop storyboards and work closely with the marketing team to ensure a cohesive narrative flow and impactful messaging across all video content.
• Brand Alignment: Maintain a consistent brand aesthetic, ensuring all video output reflects Aankona's commitment to quality, tradition, and contemporary elegance.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with photographers, models, and the marketing team to achieve shared creative goals and project deadlines.
• Trend Awareness: Stay updated with the latest video editing techniques, social media trends, and apparel/fashion industry best practices to ensure our content remains fresh and engaging.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: Proven professional experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing work specifically for apparel or fashion brands.
• Software Proficiency: Demonstrated mastery of industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and comprehensive knowledge of their functionalities.
• Design Tools: Essential proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for graphic integration and visual asset creation.
• Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of video effects, transitions, color correction, and sound design principles.
• Creative Vision: Exceptional creativity with an innate ability to translate concepts into visually stunning and emotionally resonant videos.
• Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring high-quality output in every frame, every cut, and every audio cue.
• Collaboration: A natural team player with excellent communication skills, capable of taking feedback and contributing effectively to a creative environment.
• Storytelling: Strong grasp of visual storytelling and storyboarding techniques.

Work Expectations & Policies:

• Performance Review: Your work quality, consistency, and creative output will be evaluated on a monthly basis. Continued engagement with Aankona depends on consistently meeting performance benchmarks and contributing to our brand's visual success.

• Trial Period: The initial 2 months of your engagement will serve as a probationary period. During this time, employment can be discontinued if performance is not satisfactory. Following this probationary period, Aankona will formally assess your suitability to determine whether to proceed with continued engagement. Aankona's decision regarding your employment status, both during and after probation, will be final, and Aankona will be indemnified, ensuring we are protected from any claims or liabilities arising from the decision not to continue employment.

• Punctuality & Communication: We expect timely communication regarding task updates, proactive updates on project progress, and strict adherence to all deadlines.
• Tool Proficiency Required: A robust working knowledge and practical proficiency in industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro), graphic design tools (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator), and an understanding of social media scheduling/analytics platforms are mandatory.
• Self-Learning: We highly value a proactive approach to continuous learning and skill improvement, especially given the dynamic nature of digital content and social media trends.
• Confidentiality: All creative work, content strategies, brand assets, and internal discussions related to Aankona must remain strictly confidential.
• Work Ownership: All creative content, including videos, graphics, and associated assets, produced as part of this role will be the exclusive intellectual property of Aankona.
