Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting warehouse distribution operations, handling heavy equipment, and ensuring efficient order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with warehouse management systems, and the ability to operate various types of heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in shipping & receiving, packaging, and warehouse management within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently
  • Assist with order picking, packing, and fulfillment processes to ensure timely delivery of products
  • Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of products and materials in accordance with safety protocols
  • Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock locations and maintaining inventory accuracy
  • Perform maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues promptly
  • Assist in construction or assembly tasks as needed for warehouse setup or modifications
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards during all operations involving heavy equipment and materials

Experience

  • Prior experience working in a warehouse environment is highly preferred
  • Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers is preferred
  • Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment, packaging, and load & unload operations
  • Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance is a plus
  • Experience in manufacturing or construction environments can be beneficial for understanding complex logistics processes
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20-$17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
