Warehouse Operative - Dispatch
Production Equipment is a leading industrial distributor supplying over 85,000 products to customers across Europe. We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse/General Operative to join our busy team.
Responsibilities:
- Goods Receiving, checking, counting and organisation of stock
- Picking and packing customer orders to agreed timeframes and order turnaround times
- Stock checks and cycle counting of products in warehouse with proactive approach to maintaining stock accuracy
- Work with a computerised stock control system
- Flexible to perform duties assigned in assembly and manufacturing
- Loading and unloading of vehicles.
Skills & Experience:
- Flexible, reliable, hardworking with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to use own initiative with strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Previous experience using SAP or a similar system would be highly desirable.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with a desire for excellence.
- Attention to detail and pick accuracy are paramount to the success of the role.
- You must have a minimum of 1 year’s order picking and warehouse experience.
- Experience using a forklift desirable
